Park City Day 9
Spent most of Saturday in a sleep-deprived daze from my marathon day on Friday…(I had woken up at 6:30am for an interview with the Park City Television Station—I’ll post it as soon as this old laptop can do the processing to convert the file—and my day lasted without a nap until 5:00 that morning with the awards celebration after party.)
Last night had a nice dinner with the Slamdance staff. They had returned the Gallery Screening Room to its former grandeur as a hotel conference room for a final group meal and were kind enough to invite me along. It was potluck—so I brought the box of Bush Cards that I had lugged with me to Park City.
I had put the Bush Cards in my bio, etc… but it was funny to see that most of the people there had no idea that I had done them. A lot of them had known of the cards themselves from when they were really out there—just not connected them to me—and I ended up getting a bunch of autograph requests….I of course played it pretty graciously and routinely…but it definitely made me smile.
Anyhow, snowed last night here (and just started snowing again) so I’m going to see if I can figure out the lift ticket deal and get some skiing in before I head home tomorrow.
Thanks for all the emails and congratulations!!!
Best,
Zach
