Inauguration Day!
Hard not to smile… This morning I went down to the main square here and watched the coverage on the screens that I had been set up… It was just really nice… Afterwards, a small group of people started dancing and hugging eachother.
What will you do now? That’s a question, I get asked a lot these days. I dunno…smile more easily. Truthfully, I was ready to go out of business in 2004— the impetus for me really had always been more political and social than financial— so, I’m ready— like the so many of us— to move on.
The film premieres later today… I’m a little nervous about turnout given the thinning herds here and I just don’t have the publicity folks like some of the other films in Park City do… but that said… it feels absolutely right that a film that is largely about change starts its life today.
